Re-branded HIV/AIDS management programme

Sechaba Medical Solutions is proud to announce the rebranding and repositioning of its HIV Programme, now known as Sechaba Well-Care. Through this programme, Sechaba is set to become a major role player in HIV/AIDS management as it strives to contribute in a more meaningful way to counter South Africa’s HIV prevalence.
While the previous HIV programme, known as Yebo Life, was restricted to Sechaba client schemes, the new Sechaba Well-Care is now a standalone product aimed at medical schemes, the corporate market, including pension administrators and insurers.
Sechaba Medical Solutions win Top Women Awards

Sechaba Medical Solutions has walked away with top honours at the 6th Annual Top Women Awards held in November at The Wanderers, Johannesburg. The Top Women Awards event is held annually to celebrate companies and individuals who contribute daily to the empowerment of women in South Africa. Sechaba appoints new COO

Moerane Maimane, previously at the Road Accident Fund, has been appointed chief operating officer of Sechaba Medical Solutions. Maimane, who holds a BAdmin (Hons) and an MBA, has broad experience in general management, human resources, economic empowerment, finance and marketing. He has experience in a range of sectors, including SMME development and financing, consulting, housing, information, technology and communication.
Sechaba appoints General Manager: Managed Care Services

Dr Tumi Seane has joined Sechaba as General Manager: Managed Care Services, from 1 March 2009. In his many senior roles expanding from medical advisor to medical consultant, fund manager and healthcare broker, Seane has acquired a wealth of both clinical and corporate experience within the medical industry. He holds a medical degree from the then University of Natal as well as an MBA from GIBS.
